Well Thursday is a special day if you are in Mbita, for the folks its like an outing day, you to get some good supplies you got to be there in the morning, most retail koiosk keepers start off to the market quite early, to get the incoming fresh produce from the many suppliers most of them coming from outside the district

for other folks, especially those who are working and would add to their weekly supplies, lunch time, and an early time off work to get to the market is more appropiate

for other folks, it is the time to take your sweet time, get onto your beautiful dress, put on some nice perfume, and put your best foot forward to the market, i wouldnt say it is the favourite spot to pick a guy from, but it provides you with a chance to see most of the folks you probably havent seen in the week due to work
