A day outside, my comfort zone is what I had. a walk in Rusinga Island always has me curious, and quite humbled at the end of the day. It came as a surprise just to realize how marginalization is something that grow out of habit. Somehow some Ngodhe Island is next to Wanyama division in
Rusinga however it always overlooked because community members just assume it in
development plans. Well you can guess what I had for lunch, one sweet Nile perch.......I decided to eat because it did not look like it had been fattened during the cooking process, you know how fast we achieve that, in the name of some nice spiced meal, not that i wouldn't do it that way, but am trying to go back to my roots by trying to push down anything green, low salt, and fatless meal down my food pipe. Was a tough day, but my next plan is to visit the small Ngodhe Island to go beyond the Kiumba beach, a boat ride takes 10-15min depending how rough the waters are.
